Gengahr are a four-piece indie band from north London. Felix Bushe, Hugh Schulte, Danny Ward and John Victor have been playing together since school, and have spent the best part of a decade making records that sit somewhere between psychedelic pop, shoegaze and widescreen indie rock.

Their 2015 debut A Dream Outside came out on Transgressive Records to widespread critical acclaim. Two further albums followed — Where Wildness Grows (2018) and Sanctuary (2020), produced by Bombay Bicycle Club's Jack Steadman. Fourth album Red Sun Titans (2023), produced by Matt Glasbey and executive-produced by Charlie Andrew, was released independently on their own label — their most assured and expansive work to date.

"We've done this for a long time and it's always been a struggle, but also a labour of love. We're just happy to be making what we consider to be great music — that's what drives us forward now."
